Use your common sense how came that he became a Cardinal without knowing how to speak latin and other foreign languages? He studied a Priest and took a master degree in Theology in and outside the Philippines. To be a Priest it is required to study Latin Italian, Spanish, and other foreign languages for missionary purpose. Was Pope Benedict an ignorant for created him as one of the Cardinals who would be a candidate to succeed to him?.
