    Congratulations, the top end feels less stretched than most tenors on this difficult aria.

    I think there's no need to stretch anything here: if one starts without excess tension, the high frequency harmonics will blossom as the music goes up.

  • Eine volle und mitreißende Stimme, die sowohl die Kraft des Helden, als auch die Qual in diesem Kerkerloch mitfühlen läßt. Eine gelungene und faszinierende Florestan-Interpretation... Das Orchester überdröhnt leider stellenweise den Gesang.

  • I know Louis Gentile from his first contract in Darmstadt Staatstheater. He has come a long way from that point in his career. This; "Got Welch Dunkle Hier" is as well sung as Jon Vickers.
