Palm Pre Review pt1 / My First YouTube Video

Hey, it's my first YouTube Video ever...so go easy on me! Plus, I have to admit I am a little tired and nervous. BUT, I went to a pre-release party and got the Palm Pre. I recorded this video on my macbook after spending somewhere around 3-5 hours with the phone. Just wanted to talk about my experience with the phone so far.

@Thetis101. Last month I actually received, as a birthday gift, a Samsung Captivate (AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S). So I use the Captivate for personal use and the Pre for business use. The only hardware problems I have experienced is the wiggle between the screen and the phone. Feel free to message me for some more detailed questions.

how'd you read about it 9 months+? It was released in January, at CES 2009. That's about 6 months ago.

Although the actual 'Pre' device may have first been mentioned at CES, the Palm WebOS has been talked about for a long time ever since Palm was acquired by ACCESS. In the time leading up to the Pre announcement, there were a lot of rumors about a potential linux-based Palm OS on a new handheld device. Since Palm announced they were not making anymore PDAs, a lot of people assumed the device was a phone. It was during this time of I became interested in what we now know is the pre.
