Lithophane collecting is fast becoming one of the worlds most valuable and desirable hobbies. Limited quantity original titles seem to be the best investments ($45 & up)because of the fast increase in value. Smaller lithophane titles - up to about 2" - are easily stored and tend to be a better investment. Be wary of low-cost ceramic & porcelain high volume productions.
