@abbasoff That is souviet propaganda. My g/mother was under german occupation, their conduct was correct and civilized. My g/father ended SWW in Vienna(and after that - in Manchuria), he considered germans the best warriors and cultured people. Ideas and goals of nazism was perverted after 1945 - voe victim! I am russian.

Actually Gehlen took part in the Stauffenberg plot to kill Hitler but he hid his tracks very well. That said, there were numerous Nazi's that worked for him as part of his eastern intelligence unit that were initially charged with war crimes. As part of the deal to surrender to the U.S., the U.S. agreed to drop charges against the members of his organization because they wanted intelligence on Soviet operations so desperately.
