Deshon Marman on US Airways flight 488, 6/15/11

Deshon Marman, 20, a defensive player for the University of New Mexico and graduate of Lincoln High in San Francisco, was arrested and removed from US Airways flight 488 Wednesday after police said he ignored an airline employee's request to pull up sweatpants that exposed his underwear below the buttocks.

In San Francisco, CA,. A white man, can walk around in the streets of San Francisco nude. The San Francisco Police, will not arrest him.

Section 314 of CA. Penal Code, states it is unlawful to be nude in public. Or indecent exposure of your private parts is illegal. SFPD ignors this law. A Black wearing sagging pants on Aircraft, is place under arrest and removed from the Aircraft. This Man, paid his Airfare.

Since when do other passengers have the right to complain about what someone else is wearing? So let's think about this. You have a racist on a flight who decides to give the young black man a difficult time. Are we going to extend this from dress to hair, hygiene, and weight? What will people be allowed to complain about next? This black man was respectful and he was singled out. I hope U.S. Airways gets a law suit for this one and hope the young black man wins.

I'm an old white man, and I saw nothing offensive about the way Mr. Marman was dressed. I thought that his conduct was exemplary, considering that he was confronted with such stupidity and obvious racism.
