Xilisoft Video Converter UNREGISTERED? Easy fix!

This is a tutorial for registering a lisence for Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate v5.1.22 after getting the infamous "INVALID REGISTRATION INFORMATION" dialog box (although you were already registered before). This may work for other versions aswell. Please leave comments in the comments box below (it works, no?.. worked for me:).

Whats the problem?
The problem many users are facing is that they register with a valid key, only to have it go back to being UNregistered. This leaves the user with only five minutes of their rip of Plan 9 from Outer Space, not nearly boring enough.

How does this happen?
The problem starts when you use xilisoft video converter while you're on the internet. Although you may have X-VC blocked from connecting to the internet, xilisoft.com may disable your key (and every other key for that matter) by writing a registry key that is very well hidden in your computer's registry files. I speculate that they are finding you by P2P programs... (like, if your uploading Xilisoft on utorrent... notty, notty:).

What is this?
So, This a quick fix to get out there and converting videos again to your PSP, iPod or whatever. Mind you, there are better programs out there for converting videos. Any Video Converter, Sonic Stage, etc. Xilisoft is just easier to use.

How do we fix it?
Easy, you can do it yourself. Just delete those slagen registry key. Like catching glitch mice in your data-banks.

Don'ts
Please do not ask me for serials. If you are facing this same problem, you should already have a serial lisence. It WILL work again!

I Have Win7 64bit Ultimate. SO I cant find the Folder Location in the HKEY thingy!!!

I can only follow this video as far as you went to "HKEY_USERS, at 1:01 .

I basicly I Cant find the "CLSID" folder! Please HEEEELPPP ME!!!!

MP4 is video, where as MP3 is audio format.

Try Xilisoft HD VC Portable. It doesn't require a serial.

Im using windows 7 64-bit and im using X-video converter HD, i can't find the folder {C06F4056-C35F-4bf8-A93A-9F098­­F3E503D}-_- please HELP! Thanks!

For those win 7 32-bit ultimate user who have Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate 7 build 1121, just follow the same step in this video but instead of 1:44 delete {C06F4056-C35F-4bf8-A93A-9F098­F3E503D} and that's it. I successfully registered mine after doing that.
