The moon's reflection was deep in her large, moss jewels as I slowly leaned in, marveling at the precious hue. I felt her body stiffen underneath my hold, my algid breath fluttered sparks off on her neck.


"Look up,"I demanded in a husky tone. A forming ball of saliva fell down her throat, she lifted her head up and left me face-to-neck.


Her ivory teeth slit her bottom lip causing the slightest bit of blood to drip. I inhaled the scent for a long period of time as if I could exhale the alluring fragrance when she wasn't near. Her blood was too things- pure innocence ... and lust.


I raised my left arm, extending it towards her cheek, lightly caressing it and bringing it closer to my face. My tongue grazed the small amount of blood in long, moist strokes, her precious jewels slowly closed. She murmured my name in raspy, seductive voice.


Leisurely, my tongue and hand pulled away, taking one last breath I lifted her chin back up. I could feel her pulse racing under my right hand, my mouth reached her neck and pulled into a complete hault. My irregular breathing hovered over my self-less thoughts.


I loved her too much to do this to her . . . I was taking away her happy life and giving her an immortal, harsh one. She wanted this so we could be together- forever. And so did I. But I couldn't convince myself to do it right then, my index finger pressed her chin down. Her long eyelashes curled upward as her murky green orbs fluttered open.


Almost immediately, she placed her hand on her neck and brushed her fingers along her soft, milky skin. She spoke through slightly parted, tense lips. "I- I didn't feel . . . anything."


My jaw instantly froze, I heaved out a long, inaudible sigh and slowly closed my eyes. I gritted my teeth together and inhaled another dose of her compelling scent.


". . . Because I didn't do anything."


When I opened my eyes, her jaw was quivering and her face was drowned in a bubble of disappointment and hurt. I tuned into all of the thoughts going inside ofher head and shook my head, rubbing the side of her cheek with my thumb.


"I DO want you, Selena." I answered one of her many inquireries.


Her plump, luscious, vibrant red lips jutted out in a childish pout. "Then why?"


"I can't do this to you."I sighed shakily, removing my last bit of contact with her face.


She closed her eyes, inhaling loudly and exhaling. I think she was also compelled by my scent. Her entire body fell towards me as she purred the last few words.


"Make me yours . . . forever."
