@Random1765 all hg pilots fly with chutes now. but usually only one..and you usualy only deploy one even if y ou have two.

i think US pilot Jeff O'Brien blogged that the US team was due to fly off Chabre and do a bit of an acro show the same afternoon, but they decided not to - after seeing this guy they decided the air was probably a little bit rough, so yes, i think you read right.

no, he threw his first reserve himself. he broke an upright apparently, so he wouldn't have been able to recover normal flight.
