  • Quality from Brady.....

  • @bunter0106 he cant be british because britian is an island that consists of england walse and scotland sure hes from the uk im not quistioning that theres a reason its called the kingdom of great britian AND northern ireland if your born on the island of ireland your irish thats not a political statment its just fact ive even heard of uninists call themselves irish like i said it isnt a politcal term in this case.

  • @wonderboysam

I'm sorry buddy, but he's not Irish, he's British (not that there is anything wrong with that). I have no problem with Paisley, he is from British stock and is clearly very proud of it so good luck to him.

    Would he ever learn gaelic?

Would he immerse himself in Irish culture?

Would he stand to respect Amhrán na bhFiann?

    the list could go on..

The anwser to all these is no, which is his prerogative. I cant understand how anyone can consider him Irish.

  • @seankinsellasean

I'm Irish, my friend, and i certainly do not consider Ian Paisley to be a fellow countryman of mine.

Paisley would horrified at being referred to as Irish, so please do not cheapen our nationality by applying it to people like him who would not be proud of it.

  • @bunter0106 he is irish, nothern irish, just like pat rice and pat jennings whom they also mentioned, dont hate buddy we're all from the same isle

  • @bunter0106 Just because he isnt from the republic doesnt mean he aint irish hes from the island of ireland, whats your FA and league called, whats your british army division called ect.

  • "they dont celebrate christmas do they?" Brilliant.

Ian Paisley isnt Irish by the way, i find that quite offensive tbh.
