Even though it is kept alive like Santa or Boogieman; the Goa mis-labeling will continue. Santa was created similarly: as an ad campaign aimed to make us buy more and think less. And it is still here. GO-A... GO-A... GO-A... merry x-mas.

@dilledilledilledille You are right, except I still think Shpongle is Goa/Psytrance but down tempo. To me, Simon Posford's Lone Deranger. album caused even more confusion.
Since I wrote that comment I had to retrain my thinking. I haven't been in the scene in almost 10 years. But, I learned Yin-Yang. Nature is made of "one-thing" and describing the "one-thing" with two polar complements, not opposites. So, no matter how far apart, they always hold on and return. Goa/Psytrance. IMO.

@bizz4ethix First of all the difference btween goa trance and psytrance is only in the interpretation of the listener cause there are no official terms to it. Second of all if there may be any difference btween the 2 than it would be that an typical psy sound is the kickbassbassbasskick beat. A goa beat would be an kickbasskick beat. Not that that would make any sense because there are too many differences and crossovers. IMO shpongle cant be put anywhere only its selfmade genre. No offence thou

This is not Goa!! What is wrong with you? This is Psytrance, obviously. When will you people stop the madness. Simon Posford never did any Goa trance. And I don't even know if it actually existed. This is from twisted, correct? So, L.S.D. is a Goa Trance track. For God's sake it's called LSD how much more psychedelic does it have to be?
