Consolidating the identity with a photograph of the voter at the forthcoming Presidential poll is mandatory.

The Elections Commissioner said the production of an identity to exercise the franchise is compulsory. The national identity, the passport, the driving license, the pensioners identity or the elders identity can be submitted.
There is also the possibility of producing the identity issued by the Department for Registrations of Persons for the clergy. In a statement, the Elections Commissioner opined that the temporary identity issued by the Elections Department for the previous Provincial polls is also valid. New identity cards can be obtained for disfigured identities.
