http://www.woodmizer.com - The LT10 is a compact hobbyist portable sawmill operated with an easy hand push feed system. It features a 7.0 HP (10 HP optional) gas engine and will cut up to 160 board feet per hour.* The base mill has the capacity to handle 24" diameter logs by 11 ' long. A space saving feature of the LT10 is that it breaks down and can be stored in your garage or outbuilding.
The Wood-Mizer LT10 is designed as an entry level mill for the weekend sawyers who love the idea of cutting their own lumber but want to minimize their investment.
As with all our sawmills, the LT10 is backed with the same legendary service, quality and safety features shared by the rest of the family of Wood-Mizer mills.

my uncle is a norwood dealer, and is not a fan of wood-mizer, but I like the design of the wood-mizers more, and if I ever get a mill, it would probably be a wood-mizer.

@Hollrobb I'm in the same boat as you minus the wife. Tons of trees and so many uses. I think this milling could get addicting. So did you ever end up purchasing a mill ? and if so, what brand? I recently started learning about mills to do the same as you, maybe a cabin, and furniture, shed. All your wood does not have to firewood anymore.

This looks like just what i want/need. If i had this rig i could use the wood/trees here on the farm and never buy a board from the hardware store again. Then again i will have to start on the addition my wife wants me to add on our house.lol
