This is a Sri Lankan tune written by P.L.A.Somapala and recently re-recorded by his son Chitra and introduced to me by Prasanna Somapala, another son and a good friend to me when I am lucky enough to work in Sri Lanka. Prasanna published the songs of his parents and is also an excellent photographer!
Here is a link to Chitra's modern version that I have used in this ukulele arrangement.

This song was written by my dad in 1948 and my mom sang it, this beautiful song has so many versions with my mom, i decided to redo this song in my own style and i hope you all gonna like it.This song is about the historical rock temple of dambulla in sri lanka.
