I've been reading these comments and I finally figured out why many are saying Alan is flat, or tries too hard or whatever. I just realized Depp fans must have to build him up by knocking others down because Alan is not flat. If you really think Sondheim would let Alan sing flat on this you're insane. He would have autotuned it if he had to in order to insure it's perfection. Alan's singing in a very low voice.Maybe your ears are not sharp enough to make it out correctly. He harmonizes perfectly
