Si tratta della prima volta che una band registra una nuova canzone esclusivamente per il franchise, canzone che sarà resa disponibile dopo il lancio del gioco, dando così ai fan di Guitar Hero® accesso esclusivo alla musica degli Smashing Pumpkins prima di chiunque altro. Il nuovo brano, unitamente ad altre due celebri pezzi della band, "1979" e "The Everlasting Gaze," sarà reso disponibile dopo il lancio del gioco come pacchetto aggiuntivo scaricabile.

I don't look GH that way, I mean, sure there's a lot of kids out there that listened to Ted Nugent for the 1st time in GH, but there's also a lot of us gamers that use to play a game with the sound turned off and banging the metallica black album on winamp. Now GH it's just what we wanted, a game with a great soundtrack.
