Solendra(sp) ? The solar company formerly the poster child for green and got 500m in gov. loans now bankrupt. So much for the green economy.

They are NOT throwing MONEY at the economy. They are throwing counterfeit currency at the market which takes purchasing power from anyone that has it already and spends it where they see fit. The FED can create money on a keyboard and lend to the gov. They already created 16Trillion, yes TRILLION, and lent it to their bank buddies here and around the world. As a manufacturer, I can tell you that Schiff is right on target. The "service economy" and the "information economy" are nonsense. The only way for an economy to prosper is by taking something of value and applying labor to it to create a product of higher value. Then, export that product. We have given our production capacity away over the last 10-15 years. Try to find a tool and die maker, or a millwright...or any seriously skilled machine labor. Forget it. Time to start over again.
