On January 24, 2011, Lia Mills spoke at the Teen Defenders International Youth Walk for Life in Washington DC. This is a recording of her message at the rally. Lia Mills is the spokesperson for Teen Defenders. Visit: teendefenders.com
@hotjar71 this, however, is a perfect example of a brainwashed kid. this kid could never have reached the mindset she has without being programmed.
Right.. There is no way ever she could be that smart. I'm not saying she's not been programmed since I don't "know". But you're a fool for assuming she is just because she's an articulate speaker with a message you disagree with.
you expect me to feel pain for a woman who has an unsafe abortion and suffers the consequences for trying to kill another human being? For some choices, there are consequences.
Further, just because murders still happen does not mean we should legalize them. Your logic is completely flawed.
shut up! she's only like 14 and she's so strong about it! she's really good at this- she doesn't even shead a tear on camera.... i agree all the way and all the time lia!
@LoneRookRS1 Lia makes a heartwarming speech about wanting to end abortion around the world by having it criminalized as murder, even in countries where it's already considered murder, but she and others like her that make passionate speeches aren't creating and implementing solutions that address why women, even in countries where performing an abortion is considered murder, get abortions. I'm not saying that all Pro-Lifers do this. If I was Pro-Life I would think criminalization is not enough.
@LoneRookRS1 Part 4-I was brought up the fact that if a post-abortive woman receives death threats unless she's in a group for Post Abortion Stress Syndrome and she's depressed and wants to kill herself. Then she's told that she can receive forgiveness and accepted. So it is considered as shameful.
I have Pro-Life friends that believe that yes abortion must be criminalized as murder, but also believe that we as a society must create and implement solutions to the problems pregnancy women face.
@LoneRookRS1 Part 3-About AngieTheAntiTheist, I really don't care how you perceive her, that again was not the point and you read what you wanted to and took it out of context. I was merely responding to your claim, that in country where abortion is legal that it is not seen as shameful.
By me bringing up that Angie has gotten death threats, that was to illustrate that it's not a shameless thing. Part 4 next.
@LoneRookRS1 Part 2-So my question to you again is does it make any sense to say that to end abortions in countries where it is illegal, which Lia is talking about in her video when she brings up the 40 million abortions that happen around the world in a year, that all that needs to happen is a law needs to be made where abortion=murder? Or do people like Lia, that bring up that the total number of abortions in the world, need to focus on creating and implementing solutions. And- Part 3 next.
@LoneRookRS1Part 1 "Abortion needs to be perceived as murder. It will be the law that leads the public perception of abortion as being one of the lowest acts a human can perform."
Okay, and you still are selectively picking the points that you want to address and not addressing the ones that you don't.
Again, Lia in this video and other videos has said that the 40 millions abortions around the world need to be stopped, missing the point that abortion is considered murder in some countries.
@LoneRookRS1 And if you want to end abortions then instead of trivializing the "desperate" circumstances that women use when getting elective abortions, create and implement solutions to those desperate circumstances.
I may not agree with everything Pastor Al of His Nesting Place in California who was featured on Morgan Spurlock's 30 days Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice episode says and believes, but I respect him and his wife, by offering pregnant women a place to stay.
@Nendail1 I would definitely have to agree with you. She talks as if she knows everything
