@TheSurfersEye It's similar to a 360 snap shot. There is a guy holding up a huge horizontal bar with probably 20+ gopros aligned on the bar in a straight line simultaneously recording. They go through the footage and locate the same exact frame and time on every go pro and extract that frame to get the same image at that exact point in time from different viewpoints of the cameras on that horizontal bar.

@MyDadisWatching In a show called The Human Planet they have an episode where they meet a nomadic father and son in the steppes of Kazakhstan. The son is 13 and about to make the transition from childhood to adulthood. The test is climbing down a steep cliff face in order to retrieve a baby golden eagle from the nest perched there, for fox hunting. At one point the crew fashions a harness in order to strap a Go Pro to it's back and the footage they obtained is spectacular.
