While working at a daycare center in 2000 I shot this footage late one afternoon. I was holding a mirror as I videotaped and reflected the very intense light from the setting sun outside. This high contrast footage was then combined with footage of a later date when I had the children paint their faces.
This short was edited with Adobe Premiere Pro and features an edited version of Stereolab's "1000 Miles an Hour" from the album "Aluminum Tunes."

Interesting effect with the lighting. It made for a very interesting mood, and I bet that you could improve on the concept if you made it a bit more subtle. Nice video.
