@rabbitphobia Sorry to tell you that the laughter is real. I was at a taping once and watched the episode. That's the genuine laughter that goes on. On top of that, they have a laughing "coach" who indicates when people should laugh or laugh harder.

@CVZemo I am truly stupefied that I, a Canadian, will be mocked for calling myself American. Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, etc. are all equally as American as the United States. I gather that finding a new title to refer to you people, yes I went there, would be difficult, but my point is simply that `United States of America` and `America` are NOT the same thing. Just look at your profile.

Let's put it this way. Doesn't matter, Craig Ferguson is the BEST LATE NIGHT SHOW HOST at the moment, he's hilarious. Watching two comedians talk together like this is the best. Craig Ferguson is the best.

The island of Great Britain has the 3 countries of Scotland,Wales & England in it.
Through the act of union in 1800,Great Britain & Ireland became the United Kingdom (of Great Britain & Ireland)
The UK we know today incorperates England,Scotland,Wales & the failed sectarian entity which is 'Northern Ireland'.
Great Britain is the geographical island,the UK (a misnomer if ever there was one) is the political arrangement that a huge section of its population actually want rid of.

To clear up some confusion on this page.....
"Great Britain" and the "United Kingdom" are the same thing (similar to "America" and United States"). The full, official name is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland" and it includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
How is this so hard for people to understand?

I think they're both great but Carlin is on a completely different level than Lewis Black and Lewis would agree with me on this point. That means there are a bunch of comedians better than Black and not as good as Carlin, but Lewis Black is still awesome!
