The pinnacle of the wisdom and practices of the ancient sages is contained in the terse twelve verses of the Mandukya Upanishad, which outlines the philosophy and practices of the OM mantra (written as either AUM or OM). The three stages plus the fourth of Om mantra are central to Yoga Meditation, Advaita Vedanta, and Samaya Sri Vidya Tantra.

    Excellent video.

can anyone clarify my doubt ?

Turiya means Fourth. i sometimes hear the word 'Turiyateeth'. which literally means 'beyond fourth'. what is it ?

is Turiya of mandukya same as 'Turiyaateeth'?

is 'Shunya'(voidness) of buddists same as 'Turiya'?

Although I'm not personally inclined towards discussing here terminologies, etc, searching internet using the spelling "turiyatita" will reveal some resources for those of you who wish to explore this further.

Simply superb, the quality of presentation is gr8 and clearly signifies the vast scientific association to Hinduism.I learnt new knowledge about A U M , but AUM means krishna the one without a second.

Respectfully, would other readers please note that the view that "AUM means Krishna the one without a second" is a particular view of some particular lineages, and is not a universally agreed upon principle.

Google Karika by Gaudapada. There are English translations of this ancient text, which is widely recognized as authoritative on Mandukya Upanishad (Ramakrishna mission publishes one). The book Enlightenment Without God by Swami Rama is superb. It is short, but very dense with wisdom. It's out of print, but you can google it. There are also Om articles on my website swamijdotcom.

Where did you come across turiya-attetha? I can't comprehend beyond Turiya state.

Shunya should be the same as turiya. Shunya is silence aspect of AUM. Shunya or Aum is "mine of infinite potentialities or attributes with each attributes co-existing with their exact opposites, thus balancing the mine to perfect zero.

    Regards Deepak
