Dear viewers.

This is the last part of the Rachmaninov Symphony No.3 videos collection. I hope you have enjoyed them so far.

This video is dedicated to earthatic, a lover of classical music and a good friend. Please visit his channel to watch some really good videos.

I will be uploading myself playing the piano. A few more compositions of Nobuo Uematsu.

After I upload myself playing the piano, I will upload my own composition. It's my first composition, so don't expect much...

Have a nice day everyone!

  • Thanks so much for the dedication! I absolutely love this piece, the ending of this movement is so amazing! Thank you for uploading such a fantastic piece, it is great that we have so much in common, our love for the music of Rachmaninov is a good example!

  • Actually, this was Rachmaninoff's favorite symphony. But, as Sir Solti would have said, why "that stupid rittardando at the end!!??????"

  • Something about this symphony sounds very impressionist. At times I almost got the feeling I was listening to Ravel. Very nice symphony!

  • That rittardando is the conductor's choice, listen to Paul Kletski and the end makes sense, his choice of tempo is perfect as it is in the rest of his performance, definitely the best of I have ever heard of this wonderful work

  • please could you give details of performers? Russian I would imagine judging by the brass.

  • I love the music, as with almost everything by this composer I would take ahead of all his compatriots, not even excepting Tchaikovsky. For me, this last movement is what makes this symphony, easily the best and most purposeful of the three. I don't at all mind the ritardando at the end; the immediately preceding was taken much too fast anyway, and the ending would have been far too abrupt without that ritard. One can only regret he didn't get to turn out more masterpieces like this work.

  • absolutely brilliant

I have nothing else to say, the power of Rachmaninov's music has left me speechless.

  • 4:22 flute melody is great!!!!

  • Such a strong opening and closing that its hard not to love it.

  • I like it.

  • Ineffable sadness fills the soul upon hearing this symphony. What a gift Rachmaninoff had! What a treasure he left us! This music will endure through the centuries, perhaps long after the composer is forgotten.
