It can be tough, especially with young kids, because people understand atheism so poorly.

  • @MrTrilliondollarman Would you kindly provide us with this proof behind Catholicism?

  • Thanks. It's at least a comfort to know others are going through this too. I'm not alone.

  • @Tohruthevampirelover

    1. Wrong. There is no dictionary that would agree with that. 2. There is no such thing as picking and choosing what parts of a faith to follow. Homosexuals need to be looked down on once again. 3. Only Catholicism has any proof behind it. All the others are either man-made or cheap imitations.

  • @MrTrilliondollarman Okay, 1: The very definition of idolatry is blind adoration. 2: Not all Catholics believe in all the teaches, because the world has grown from whenever the Apostles existed, for examples, gays. Homosexual people are more readily accpeted now, than they were thousands of years ago. They even made a movie about it called 'Prayers for Bobby'. 3: I don't believe that any one notion is superior to others because every faith on Earth has their own proof.

  • @Tohruthevampirelover

An atheist is anyone who violates the commandment against idolatry. A Catholic is one who believes in all teaches passed down from the Apostles. Your eyes are sewn shut because you're blind to the fact some notions are just naturally superior over others.

  • @MrTrilliondollarman Okay, i'm going to take this from a different angle, just to see if we get anywhere. Let's just make this clear. What is your definition of an Atheist, and a Catholic? How are my eyes sewn shut when I except every culture and possibility?

  • @Tohruthevampirelover

I have seen other cultures, having traveled quite a bit when I was younger, so don't you dare lecture me about not seeing the world. Someone with eyes sewn shut like yours should not be lecturing anyone about being blind. God wants us all to see and understand his glory...that's why we have vision.

  • @Tohruthevampirelover

I don't create them...I just point them out. I just said I was raised atheist, you idiot. Do try to pay attention. I live in a world of truth and logical consistency, whereas you live in a world of bullshit and doubt.

  • @Tohruthevampirelover

Dudette...it's not an issue of not knowing something. It's an issue of what you do being consistent, and nothing you say is consistent. Like here, you just contradicted yourself.

  • @MrTrilliondollarman You will never live life to its' fullest because you deny youself the chance to see the world, and that includes other cultures. You close your eyes to other beautiful things, and by closing your eyes you have denied yourself what your God has given to you. I'm not saying to convert to Atheism, all i'm saying is see the world for it mass of possibilities. If you God wanted to keep your eyes closed then he/she would've made us all blind.
