Well... It could have been a heavenly angel waking you up to save you kid or a fallen angel trying to do something else. If the angel was male, in white clothes, and no wings, chances are he was a good guy. If it had wings or appeared to be a female, shiny or not, thats a bad guy. What an awesome testimony to hear that God saved you out of such dark things. AMAZING!

...was this yet another demon that i saw (any others i had seen werent white and shining, they were dark)...or could it have been an angel? All the time I was backslidden I still felt God's hand on me and when "miracles" happened, which were often, I would always think in my mind, is that God watching over me?. Can someone please share their views on this experience with me. Love in Christ <3

...but someone told me recently that it was perhaps a demon disguised in light and the leaning in to my son was the demon trying to harm my son...at the time i was backslidden from God and had invited demons in my home and life through curiosities and interests such as tarot cards, astrology and general interest in ghosts, I actually said aloud once that I want to "see things', and shortly thereafter began my almost decade long time of experiencing dark forces. ...when it had disappeared I just tried to gather myself and didnt really want to deal with the fact that i had just seen something i cant explain, so i wrote it off as my imagination, even though i knew it wasnt imagination, i was wide awake. Something in my mind then said "check your son"...then i noticed he was lying right on the edge of the bed, as if he could fall off, and on the floor were hard toys which couldve have greatly harmed him. Someone suggested that is couldve been an angel...

I am not disagreeing with Paul Washer, I am just wondering what part of scripture confirms this, out of curiosity. And do angels still appear to us today, do they only appear to the saved? I woke up one night years ago in my bed at about 2-30am, my 10 mth old son in bed beside me. I awoke to see standing on my son's side of the bed a tall, slim shining figure and it was leaning slightly towards my son. I screamed because I thought it was an intruder, as I screamed my eyes closed, it disappeared.
