This is taking place in Saudi Arabia? I was under the impression that Jews (I believe Peter Schiff is Jewish) are not allowed in Saudi Arabia.

I can imagine that most brought up in 'fiat currency world ' would have difficulty appreciating *true* or unadulerated Free Market Capitalism.

gold is good to invest, but... will there be economic growth - lets see. ( if gold is the backing of their country's currency and let the market do the economic growth....question next next is can we count on the market' today ? ??? I believe they will buy the bankrupt companies and do a better job and produce things. therefore I agree, the question of economic growth is right, but the preservation for this, remains questionable. ( Elites and secret societies and interest groups/ organizations)

"Dollar is a sub-prime currency" wow. What if the Saudis listen to Schiff, and decide to ask for payment for oil in gold? Or, instead of buying Tbonds with petro dollars, they buy gold in earnest.
