The Kingdom of Tonga is a great place to visit all year round.

SCUBA DIVING & SNORKELING

Those passionate about diving are invited to explore Tonga's thriving underwater world. Water temperatures range from 23-24 degrees in the winter to 28 degrees in the summer. There's pristine coral reefs, massive sea pinnacles, winding swim-throughs, vast sea caves, volcanic tunnels and reaching overhangs.

LEARN TO DIVE

Wanting to learn to dive? Many dive operators in Tonga now allow you to do your PADI learning online. Spend no time in the classroom and more time in the water on your holiday!

WHALE ENCOUNTERS

Humpback whales migrate to the Kingdom of Tonga every year in June to give birth and mate and stay until November. Tonga is one of few places in the world where you are allowed to be in the water with these whales. To responsibly swim with a humpback whale is a great privilege. There are also plenty of opportunities to watch the whales' powerful aerial displays from the comfort of a boat or your beach fale.
