Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy (Trapezoid Remix) [By Richard Devine]

A little odd that nobody posted this. This track in particular sort of got buried since Richard Devine did the remix under a pseudonym which he otherwise appears to have never released music under, exception being other remixes. Shame too, I quite enjoy this piece. Barely sounds like a remix though; more of a completely new track, really.

More so, their 10th anniversary... which came out over ten years ago. I.E., before the whole "Myspace musician whoring self out to gain recognition" trend really happened.

Obviously most of the sounds in this song are obscenely altered samples from Come To Daddy, you can definitely hear some bits of the drums in there and I'm sure some granularized parts of the melody. Personally I love hearing remixes that have completely altered the source material into something entirely new. You obviously don't know who Richard Devine is, because this is his style and what he does to stuff he samples.

@DDRpwnerer No. What he means is...is this track, or the remix, a girl or boy song in the sense that when RDJ makes music he feels that sometimes songs express a certain sex within their context and he has been quoted as having said that some songs sound like "boy" songs to him and some sound like "girl" songs to him based off the feeling the song gives him or what he hears in it. This song is boyish...
