I like the video. Music is great! Example of young ladies is inviting to read the book. The insinuations of femicide are sublimely there. However, I suggest a list of the novel's characters and what happens to each of those listed. A quote of the torture scenes would be most inviting to read the novel. Lastly, a reference to existing videos on the unsolved cases, like SEÑORITA EXTRAVIADA, would provide the rich literary and cultural context to which the novel IF I DIE IN JUAREZ belongs.

I was unaware of Senorita Extraviada - after looking it up, I was amazed at all the information out there. I originally created this as a book trailer, in hopes of sparking the interest of my students...and they have very short attention spans! It is really difficult to condense such a rich story into a short video, and still do justice to it. Hopefully, I can refer them to your information after they've read the book. Thank you for the feedback.

I have read and love this book. I have to say that the story of the women gripped me throughout and scared me at the thought of what would happen to them.

The video is excellent! It tantalises without giving the plot away.
