  • @siyrvan Not quite. I suggest you ask a research scientist within the field of microbiology. Most virulent forms of bacteria are encapsulated. On growth media, virulent bacteria form smooth colonies while relatively avirulent bacteria form rough colonies. Secondly, Lipid A component of the outer membrane of several gram negative bacteria can cause illness and death without bacteria being present within the body. Interesting, our mitochondria and bacteria share many common mechanisms.

  • @duivel114 It is a combination of mostly granulocytes ( neutrophils ) and dead cellular debri. At times, deep wound infections of Pseudomonas are identified by a yellowish blue-green pus.
