i am surprised this song hasn't made a cross over like jeff beck did with nessun dorma. Core 'ngrato , probably one of the most beautiful melodies and feelings I have felt captured in a song. amazing. thanks for the playing:)

as you know im fond of martin ellipse. thanks for the songs you give to us.
if you let me...i will ask you a suggest. because i have worked as a profesional sound technician, put lower level martin´s reference ... because dont let listen clear the melody. i tell you in the besto of the senses..
Do you know if Neapolitan songs were originally accompanied by a guitar or piano, or...??

@TheVoicelesson Probably both - depending on the vogue of the moment and the environment in which they were sung. The popular ones like "Core 'ngrato", "Luna d'estate" and "O sole mio" were all formal compositions by people like Tosti (as opposed to folk songs) and may have been accompanied by piano and/or orchestra in a 'recital' situation. In the street - perhaps guitar and mandolin. But this is a guess on my part - I'm no expert! :-)

@jessyquedens I used to hear this on the radio as a child and got a request for some tab for it recently. I didn't have any tab so got the sheet music... :-)
