Cover model, WBFF winner, natural bodybuilder and advanced personal trainer Rob Riches takes us through an intense shoulder workout, eight weeks out from the WBFF World Championships.
Based in LA, Rob was back in London earlier this month for a series of photoshoots and seminars - but, of course, still had to find time for his usual high intensity workouts as part of his contest prep. Rob's sweating more than usual here, as there was a heatwave in the city, and the fantastic Hooks Gym had forgotten to put the aircon on.
More from Rob at www.robriches.com, and on YouTube/RJRiches
This is the first of three new videos from Rob - check out two incredible bicep vids which follow shoulders.

  • @skatepunk2112 Mic!?

  • what is that thing on his shirt with the blue light???

  • Shitty music they still play at my gym... lol

  • Notice guys, if you will, the form on the smith machine shoulder press. With R.R's back arched away from the seat back, it has actually become a upper chest exercise. (Not that anyone can argue with RR's shoulders!)

  • @rowstudent Or maybe just holding the rubber-ball-thingy that you get on the cable

  • Interesting to see the side cable raises were done without the usual handle, but instead just holding the cable itself...

  • @sixaxis09 training shouldnt differ whether training for size or definition! you should always go heavy to tear those fibers down! anywhere around the 8-10 rep mark is good

  • he is working on getting toned in this video right? its not meant for building?

  • yummy
