Prologue - Halo 3 ODST: New Mombassa (Setting, Story and Lore
Like a monsoon started with the flutter of a butterfly's wings, there's always a chain of events that leads to where we are. Machinima's new sereies, Prologue, tells the tale of what came before the controller is being handed to the player.
This week we walk into the city of New Mombassa, a place of great strategic importance and bloodshed to the Covenant, the Master Chief, and the men of UNSC's Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, better known as... ODST.

I would actually really enjoy playing the invasion of New Mombasa from the Covenant perspective. Perhaps as an Elite, so that you can fight humans in the first half then you have to opt for stealth in the second portion because you also have the Brutes to deal with. Imagine that: It starts of as a crusade of epic proportions, but by the final stage of the game theres just you and a few other elites fighting guerilla style to escape the city.

The Arbiter isn't on the humans side. He was just using them to kill the Prophets and save his people from annihilation. All of the covenant races still want to exterminate the humans.
