these humanoid creatures, if they exist, have to be earthly, because humans evolved on earth, the probability, that humans evolved twice in our universe, or even the bodyplan of chordata, is EXTRAORDINARYLY small...if we will once find a form of life that didnt evolve on earth, it will be MUCH MUCH more alien, than anyone could imagine...and it would defnitly NOT be humanoid!!

oh i agree, i wouldn't rust most human beings with a steak knife let a lone a gun, i was referring to getting firearms to protect agiasnt 1. whatever the hell these freaking things are, and 2. against animals that would rip you apart. for isntacne if you've ever come within the biting range of a massive black mamba like i have, you would want a gun, which the guide we were with had and killed the snake with.

@MAnnaconduit1 People getting guns to protect themselfs from people with guns. See the logical error in there? Freely available guns are creating the threat they are said to protect against! In my country, civilians don't get guns easily. And we have pretty low murder rate therefore.

But it's not really about protection anyway. It's about people feeling like badass superhumans when they're carrying something that can kill just by pulling a trigger. It's about pride. The sinful kind of pride.
