Biologists can now observe the workings inside our cells in full color, 3-D—and soon to be real-time. As this ScienCentral News video explains, scientists have invented a way to trick a light microscope into revealing more details than ever before seen. http://www.sciencentral.com/video/

  • I work in a lab and have gone through painstaking and time consuming trial after trial to get something to work because everything was theoretical. "lets see if this works." "lets see if that works." I have wished time and time again I could just look at the cell and see whats going on without guessing. Maybe this is the dawn of that revolution.

  • @adiostraitorobama This is structured illumination microscopy, which predates Bessel beam microscopy.

  • So heres how it goes. Cells are made of cells wich are made of cells wich are made of cells *4 days later..* wich are made of cells wich are made of cells wich are made of more cells....

  • "You can not stain those particals with your normal acid and analin dye stains as ive stated a thousand times your particals or molecular granular structures are smaller than your acid and analine dye stains so the mousie cant swallow the elephant, naturally. It can only be stained with a frequency of light. You use a monochromatic because a monochromatic light is a portion of the spectum".. "Royal Rife"

  • @bk344 - interesting, thanks

  • Everyone viewing this site NEEDS to research Royal Rife and see how good a light microscope can be.
