ive installed mac os x onto a dell inspirion mini 10v and when i get to the set up i cant see my hard drive - im running windows 7 with it split into 2 partitions (140gb NTFS and 20gb FAT32) it only shows the external i am booting it from. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. thankyou for your time.

make 2 partitions using easus partition manager or anything else like it

I'm honestly not sure. This is the methodology I use, but it may be possible to simply do a restore.

I would imagine the steps would be similar, if it can run OS X at all. I'm only familiar with the Dell MIni 9 and Mini 10v.

If you only have the iso of it can you mount it and then save it to a dmg via the same method?

Theoretically, yes. I've never tried, but i suspect you can, assuming you're using something like Daemon Tools.
