This is my second construction video, where I animate the composition of my SVG (scalable-vector graphic) drawing. This one wields a naginata, a halberd employing a katana-like blade at the business end. The word 'naginata' comes from the verb, 'to mow down.'
As with my other SVG animations, I wrote a custom python script to recompose a SVG file one path at a time, and move a virtual camera to focus on each path as it does so. My original artwork was built in Inkscape.
The song is 旅人 (Tabibito/Traveler) by Takasugi Satomi. It sounds like an anime OM, if anyone knows what show used this song, let me know in the comments.

Awesome drawing, but the video is quite... uncomfortable... to watch. Maybe a stationary camera might be better? Awesome how you generated it using python though, good work. Hats off to that
While the shading is very well done, and the proportions seem okay, the pose of the character is really robotic and stiff, hardly looks like it's moving at all. Same with the weapon, the character doesn't even look like she's swinging it, just like it has a weird trail behind it. Otherwise, it's good. Once again, the shading and coloring is excellent. Nice use of inkscape btw, Open source ftw.
