UCLA Football set the NCAA record for Most Consecutive Bowl Wins on New Year's Day back in the 1980's. How could you say that UCLA Football sucked in the 1980's?

And in the following season, the UCLA Bruins went to "The Big House" and beat the Wolverines, 31-27. And in the same Saturday, the USC Trojans shut out the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, 12-0. It was an Unforgettable, and Epic Saturday of College Football for Los Angeles.

When the Bluebonnet Bowl went to the Astrodome it was called the Astro Bluebonnet Bowl.

Congratulations. In 11 meetings against Michigan, UCLA has won 3.
3 out of 11. That's nothing to brag about.

@Poole1Dan Uh I saw you play at home against Oregon in 2007, it wasnt very pretty...sure didnt seem like ownership of the pac10 to me! And the following season after this game, UCLA went into Michigan and beat them 31-27, then had a rematch in the rose bowl and won again 24-14. 2 UCLA wins over Michigan in the span of 4 months LOL.

9-3 is an off year for the Shembechler Wolverines who expected to go to the Rose Bowl every year. 9-3 doesn't accomplish that.
I thought ucla football was good in the 80's, but I guess they sucked back then two. Some things never change.

No, they were good in the 80's. They averaged nearly 9 wins a season.

Michigan must of had an off year in 1981 to be playing in the Bluebonnet Bowl
