I know the answer. GameShark. RareWare had every intention of putting Sn'S in BT, but Nintendo, always never caring about third parties, stopped them. Nintendo got fed up with N64 Gamesharks, which were used the same way as Stop n' Swap was going to be used. They made a NUS-002(US) model of the N64, which had one more function than the NUS-001(US) model. It prevented taking out a game pack and inserting a different one. This was between the two games.

People, SnS Is exagerated. Theres nothing to it really. Its just so you can get stuff like breegull bash, and homing eggs and jinjo in multiplayer and probobly dragon kazooie. Thats all it ever was. But people started making fake guides and all that bullcrap. People always though there was more to it, when its porpuse was allready in the game. And to this day, people are still making fake guides.

Maybe the link between the two games were the chest! ex: step one: make chest open... somehow. step two: throw s n' s items into chest. step 3: recieve the message " please remove Banjo Kazooie and insert Banjo Kazooie within xx seconds, and talk too Captain Blackeye in Jolly Roger Lagoon." step 4:Captain Blackeye opens the chest in his area. step 4: take items out of that chest and ulnock some fun mysteries!
