It would be absolutely fun, if reenactments had some kind of a system when every soldier has an electronic sensor device on him. So when the gun is actually aiming towards the enemy soldier when firing, the enemy's device will give a beep or give off a flash upon hit for confirmation. Then the gun has to have some kind of a laser device, when shooting the blank bullets. Instead of people randomly dropping down or randomly shooting towards a direction.
I guess such a thing doesn't exist, yet

I think you would know that you get hit when someboday shoot you by 1meters ;)
