This is a simple recipe to make some delicious and healthy Honey Whole Wheat Bread!
Here are the ingredients and quick instructions:
1.5 cups warm water (110-115˚F)
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup honey (x2)
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tbsp salt
3.5 cups flour
Put yeast into large bowl. Pour water over yeast and add 1/4 cup honey. Stir completely and let sit for 5-10 minutes. After it begins to bubble, you can move on to adding the dry ingredients. Add the rest of the honey, the butter, and the salt into yeast mixture. Add the flour one cup at a time (you might have to add 1/2 to 1 cup of flour if it's still sticky) Place a kitchen towel over the bow and let rise for 1 hour. Flour a clean surface and knead for 3 minutes. Shape into a loaf shape. Grease/ spray the pan with a non-stick spray, then place the dough in the pa and push it down. Cover with kitchen towel to rise for 30 minutes. Set your oven for 350˚ and bake the loaf for 30-35 minutes uncovered. Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing!
