so for every 3 LED you put a 1k Ohm resistor? why wouldnt you just use a capacitor? Wont you lose some light seeing that ur using a resistor?

using a seperate LED would prevent the entire LED array and in case of problem i'll have to only replace the faulty chunck, not the whole set.

Hey, I was looking around for LED lights to replace the burnt out ones in my computer but noticed that all I've seen look prity expensive (75c-$1.23 EACH) is that a standard price or am I looking at the wrong sites?

Are they Single L.E.D.or is it a STRIP with many LED + a Connector ?
If you can show me a pic i can certainly find you some links.

Yes they are 1K resistors (1/4watt)
3 L.E.D. in serial is connected to one Resistor.
