I have two Werner foam core paddles, and I love them both. The buoyancy of the foam really helps in reducing fatigue and strain (It's also awesome for rolling). I use a 205cm Cyprus for rougher and faster water conditions, and my 220cm bent shaft Kalliste for the long days on the water.

yup. the foam core is pretty good for giving it that light, responsive feel.
i suppose it's nice to be able to adjust the feather for situations where your paddling into the wind and 90 degrees would suit better
