Scott, I have five characters called The Heartbeats & Mr. Grungebeat. These health iconic characters have performed before thousands of children here in Pensacola, Florida and we now have a television show shown locally. We have completed three dvds and are now up for the prestigious beacon award. We have sent First Lady Michelle Obama a Heartbeat packet to ask her if we can perform for some children in Washington, DC. Can you help us to find a booking agent??

My problem with this advice is this: Most bands do not have a problem getting in their van and driving hours away from their hometown and performing but the problem is most clubs will not book a band unless they're bringing in at least 25 people or more. How can you possibly bring 25 or more people to a club that's 5 hours away from your hometown??? That's why most bands/ artists are looking for booking agents. Another reason is because they want to spend all their energy writing great songs
