Turok Rage Wars (N64) Bot Deathmatch (Fire Temple)

This is just a vid of a bot deathmatch round in the N64 game Turok Rage Wars. The name of this Level is "Fire Temple".

This game is decent for what it is. I'd say that Perfect Dark still has the best Bot Deathmatch on the N64, but this is a fun alternative.

This is Turok's take on the Unreal Tournament, and Quake III formula, and the game's single player mode is essentially just the multiplayer mode.

This game would have been better at the time it hit, especially if all you had at the time was an N64, but today, I can only recommend it to N64 enthusiasts who still like to break out with some multiplayer deathmatch with their friends ( I know there are still some of you out there). It's a fun game, but there are better more modern options out now.

For as cheap as it goes for online, it's a nice pickup, and makes a good change of pace from Perfect Dark's Multiplayer.

NOTE: Apparently some carts of this game have a glitch that makes it impossible to beat the coop campaign. I was playing coop, but we kept failing on one of the levels no matter what we did. The game has a glitch that won't let you continue in the coop mode, but you can still play through it single player.

@Dratermonkey The new Turok was current gen poop. The ending boss fight was a joke. A crappy Quick Time Event. The original Turok series was definitely the best. Turok is dead.

It's deathmatch hasn't aged the best on the 64, but it's still pretty fun to break out for the hell of it. Besides, any game with deathmatching on the 64 is good just because you can stretch it to four people total.

However, I'm just saying that more modern gamers will find it to be dated in nature. However, N64 fans should check into it. Even if you're just interested in the occasional bot deathmatch.

HOLY FUCK!!!! When I didn't have a job back in the day I used to play this shit from like 1 pm till about 3 am the next morning NONE FUCKING STOP!!!! LMAO the sounds of computer warriors killing each other in the back ground or drowning out under water somewhere made this shit almost the equivalent of online gaming even though it was just you and 3 other computer bots. I still have the n64 TO THIS DAY just to pull this game out from time to time. lol
