Quick video showing how the new 'start frame' property in Sprite can be used to avoid creating entire new sprites for every possible obstacle in your game. Would be handy for people who find that 80% of their object types dont actually do anything except serve as decoration.

  • @SimulesCompany

u can download a old version on the website! XD

  • The old version of Construct was much much better :(

  • @CheezyWEAPON Shouldn't take more memory than if you put the same images in different objects and still use all of them. I'm not sure tho, just assuming...

  • Does this take up a lot of memory when you put all those images into one object?

  • Awesome trick, never thought about something like that, thank you very much :D

  • Actually David drew those himself. He had a thread on the Scirra forum showing how to do it.

  • If Iam not wrong, this sprites was riped from a game called Braid.

  • awesome for the custom level editor, will not have to worry about toolbox much with this

  • Nice :)

  • Hahahaha @ 2:20
