As bad as MSE is, I'd still pick that over AVG. Actually now that I think about it, I'd pick a bad case of herpes over AVG. I'm just saying...

The point is if the antivirus can catch the infection before the infection does any harm or change on the pc or not. I guess there is only Bluepoint Securty which does this

@cheater87 Thanks for the suggestion, but the reason I do not do it that way is because I am testing the AV's ability to protect the computer. I do the scans to show how well the AV did.
