somuchsolittleful If you look back in history. The english educated votes for the govt while the non-educated votes for the oppo.. LKY made english the medium language in Singapore. If you love white countries so much, why don't you leave. Oh, but there are so many human rights violations in these white countries.. Aust/USA? treatment of non-white. FRA? treatment of french romanies.. so, which country should SG be modelled after? I guess its just an asian thing to look up to white people. :D

Singapore airlines beats all other US carriers especially AA. Just flew on an AA flight from DFW to LAX and LAX to NRT and the service was the worst among all airlines. On the first leg, no food was given and the hostess came down the aisle once. Not to mention the lack of AVOD. The air hostess were old and rude. I asked if i can have a glass of water and she told me to get it at the back of the plane. I took Singa air from NRT to SIN to CGK, i got great service even on the short haul legs.
