My rescue mynah (locust starling), making some odd noises and talking,
Her history: I found her as a 1 day old, featherless baby that the mother mynah pushed out of the nest (she has a birth defect, as you can see her feet are "tangled") I raised her after that and now she lives with my family and I. I cannot release her, because she would pass on the defect. Thanks for Watching!

  • Awesome vid!!! i just found a newborn baby mynah bird in my backyard with a gash on its head. It's been couple of days and I hope it pulls through. It seems to be doing better today. Your birdie is too cute!!!

  • @XXxMizzJojoxXX I hope your lil' one gets better, sometimes the other hatchlings will peck the heads of the runt/smaller one, or maybe it fell from the nest and hurt its head? Anyway I'm glad your helping it, and thank you :).

  • i have never seen a bird like tha before! beautiful!

  • @CFAJI Thank you! They are such sweet little birdies :)

  • why do they always bob their heads when doing repetitive noises?

also, the noise she (he?) makes reminds me of Ling from "Kung pow: enter the fist"

  • @thefloop Im not quite sure why they bob their heads, I guess its like a parrot "dancing" or a cockatiel head bobbing, maybe just having fun, or maybe a mating dance. I still do not know if Weewoos a male or a female.

  • @AnimalRescuer268 - bless your heart for taking this baby myna in and giving it a home and a chance to live instead of letting it die.
