I just got my g2x yesterday and it's running Android 2.3.3. My camera interface does not look like any of the ones I see on youtube. I don't get all the options or anything either. It just looks like a normal android camera like my nexus one had. Any idea why?

@RomansEmpyre Hmmm... I can't say why your phone has software that looks different from other versions of the same phone. Did you buy yours from a reputable dealer? Might it have been "rooted" and has a different user interface than what LG supplied with the G2x?

Otherwise, I don't know why yours is different.

can you turn off the flash on the camera

@NATOMyEggo Yes, you can definitely turn off the camera flash on the G2x. This phone has a pretty good camera, by the way.

So I tried to put a fully loaded Mac Pro system on that credit card number. No go.

@wirefly Well I figured out the problem. The android 2.3.3 update reverts the camera software back to the stock android camera which is HORRIBLE...

@RomansEmpyre Also, the quality of pictures taken with the camera is no where near as good as the ones I see on youtube.
